I’m back from a weekend at home and apparently not happy about it. I suppose it reflects on my Bento.
Move on!  Nothing to be proud of, today.

I felt like doing something disgusting. How about eating a caterpillar?
Then I found that since it was a caterpillar it needed some flowers to ramp through.

In fact those Bento seem very easy because everything is inside the filling :)

Today I experimented. Remember the sushi dinner I had on Tuesday? People that cannot stomach the nori seaweed are becoming a real problem.
So I tried with a cucumber, that I carved as a long, single strip. I then added some rice, ginger, creamcheese and some vegetables ( had no fresh salmon, sorry ^^) and rolled it back.
It is fresh and really good, but impossible to eat properly ( try with sticks, I double dare you).

Yesterday night we had the nicest BBQ with my coworkers.
Everyone cooked and brought something and, as usually happens, there was too much of everything :P
Result is that I’m stuck with a lot of rice salad in my fridge that has to be finished. Prepare for some very boring Bento next week…

Those big raviolis are an experiment. I emptied my fridge in the wok and then rolled the result in rice paper.
They have to be wet and then they dry remaining smooth. Easy to prepare, savoury and rich. Try them out!
